Crew Questions

    I am wondering something. Perhaps I am not noticing it, but do you ever have to pay your crew money for their services? It seems that would be a realistic feature to have in Starbound.

    Additionally, what is the maximum number of crew members one can have?

    Luckily you don't need to pay your crew members anything for their service, just make sure you have plenty of items NPCs can interact with so they don't get in the way all the time.

    As for maximum crew members, base game Starbound and most custom ships top out at 12, but there are some custom ship mods set to handle much more.

    Note: You can have up to 2 crew members following you on planets.
