Bug/Issue Crash After Power Outage

So the power went out while I was playing starbound, and now when I try to load my player it crashes.

Here's a pastebin with my crash log.

I've tried to load a backup, but they were all overwritten and none of them work. I've also tried removing the most recent worlds that I used when the game crashed.

Is that the game log? I don't remember mac versions if logs looking like that. It has no information pertaining to why the game crashes. Though that could be because it is a nightmare to read.

 

Well it's the log that popped up after the game closed. :/

 

Could you check in your storage folder for the starbound.log file?

Lots of errors in there. Have you added any mods since the crashing started?

you will need to remove mods till the crashing stops. That will tell you which mod(s) are causing the problem.

It still crashes even after uninstalling every mod.

 

You have Hull Plating Blocks v35.0 still installed manually. Further, that mod hasnt been updated since 2015. It is stupidly;y outdated.

Ok... progress, even if it doesnt feel like it.

Most of the errors in the log are a result of items now no longer existing as they were from the mods. This is fine and will get cleared up as soon as you are successfully able to get your character loaded up.

That said, there is an error with your character. A bad status effect added by a mod. "krakensetbonuseffect". The only way I know to remove those is with a character editor. If you send me your character file, I could give a crack at it. Hell, if it isn't too but, you could send your whole storage folder and I could take a crack at the whole thing.

Ok, so I took a stab at it, but it seems to be just a mess. I got it to load up by just deleting the ship files and letting the game regenerate them, but there were other problems with that, like loss of crew, as well as a problem with SAIL...

At this point, it may just be easier to start over. Modding can be a fickle beast if you aren't careful.
