Hey guys! While playing the game, there's one thing that bugged me quite a bit: the bathhouse. It's just so... decrepit, with the cracks in the walls and floors and gross stains. I looked around online to find a mod, but no such thing seems to exist. So I made it, and I'm sharing for anyone else who would want to clean up that old building. What this mod changes: - Fixes all cracks in the floors and walls - Removes stains in the shower and on the floor - Removes rust on the lockers - Fixes the workout bench - Changes the bath symbol in the lobby to an "onsen" sign What I might do eventually: - Change the sign outside to "onsen" as well Here's what it looks like. How to install: 1) If it's not already done, make a backup of your files in the "Content" subfolder, in your Stardew Valley directory. If you want to make an individual backup for the specific modded file, the file is "bathhouse_tiles.xnb" in "Content". 2) Download the zip file and extract it. 3) Place the mod folder in your Stardew Valley directory, replacing the original file by the modded one. Also I'm open to suggestions for any other modifications!
thank you SO MUCH for this, seriously. the default bath house always makes me feel sad because it looks so decrepit and unloved. i had hoped that we would get to fix it up the same way we can fix the community center, but no such luck... anyway, your mod fixes all that!! yay!
