Well I'm sure you have your reasons. They're great schools but in my opinion they're prohibitively expensive for 4 years.

I took it when it was out of 2400 and got around a 1900. I was told that was good for some UCs and not others but I already knew I was going to a community college. This is also in an area where I had friends cry over a 2000/2400.

They're really cutting out points. Does that mean the test is even shorter? 4 hrs to take the test sounds about the same though.

 

No the Essay just isn't part of the normal grading anymore.

 

Well that complicates the interpretation of scores. They're changing it really frequently now.

 

It's because most colleges just don't give a flying fuck about the essay because your Personal Statement is a thing.

 

Looking back, yeah you got a nice score. I didn't realize it was out of 1600 at first. I skimmed the post while walking.
I think that was true a few years ago too, which sucks for me since I scored really well on the English Comp and Writing portions but not so well with math.

 

It used to be that SAT is out of 2400. I'm not sure why yours is out of 1600, which leads to some confusion.

 

The essay section is graded separately out of a score of 24.

Well shit.
I let my phone die today and it applied an update when I turned it on. It reset a few of my personalization options but most importantly I lost the ability to have a different wallpaper on each homepage.
