Bug/Issue Can't Fix Thrusters?!

I have more then enough core fragments, I've beaten the penguin boss and completed the space station and planet quests. but my ship wont let me upgrade....what am I missing??

I have the following Mod's active.

Also, since I beat the boss. sometimes opening certain tabs in the item creation tools cause the game to crash....help? I cant play any further like this... *cry*

 

Did you activate the drill at the end of the mission... right after the boss but before the teleporter?
That's what completes the quest. Then you go to the outpost.

Strickly speaking though, if there was a problem(probably isn't) then you'd want to provide your starbound.log

I got the monster capture pods early in game but I cant catch anything. i throw the ball and it kills the monster?
