Can't buy items (ps4)

    When trying to by e.g. seeds from Pierre's, I can't quit the screen. I assume I'm supposed to place the item in the inventory ( with free slots) before pressing x to exit, but it stays inactive. Am I missing something obvious or is this a bug?
