Byte-Sized Sketches: A Starbound Art-Log

Physically and mentally grown up.

 

Mentally is my jam... and physically, I look like I'm in my 20's, which is not yet.

 

More in the "What should I draw?" series, requested by my friend B.

Rachel Nelson is one of my Starbound characters, which is why I felt I could include these drawings in Byte-Sized Sketches. The thing is, she's one of my least developed characters. I have a profile sheet for her, but I just can't seem to get a connection with her, and I couldn't draw her until today. So, if any of you guys are interested in a multilingual biochemist kept in suspended animation for far too many years, with an interest in leading by example...

 

May I interrupt this broadcast to tell you about another artist who's really cool and you should know about?

His name is @Crossfang , and he specializes in pixel art. He's really good at it, too; the only thing is that he's colorblind so some of the colors might be a little different than you intended. He also runs Crossfang's Shop, which I told you guys about... So he's drawn a lot of Laurin and Anna Alkane.

I guess not. I haven't actually gone through the previous pages of your work, so I wouldn't know about those portraits! I'll get around to catching myself up eventually.

Wowwww, congrats! Really, I know that's quite the feat since Alkane does a lot of byte-sized drawings.

Has killed someone? Yes. Is allied with Karas (for now)? Yes. Tbh if she's not a villain of some sort...
