I cannot use two controllers for local coop.

Repro:

1. Plug two XBox 360 Wireless Controller USB adapters in to my computer.
2. Associate two XBox 360 controllers with the adapters.
3. Make sure both controllers are on, and that Windows has finished installing drivers for them
4. Start Risk of Rain via Steam.
5. Click 'Local Coop'.
6. For player 1, click on 'keyboard' and watch it change into 'controller 1'. Accept.
7. Now for player 2, clicking on 'keyboard' does nothing - I can't get the game to let me select controller instead.

for some reason in my shift tab thing where my mouse is is not actually where the thing senses the mouse, its not in sinc, it might only be happening to me...

 

I was trying to connect to a friend for co-op but I can't connect to his server nor can I even click the Host button (it lights up but I cant actually click it for some reason). I get an error in the upper left of the screen saying its saved as error_(the date). Not sure what caused it. I've uninstalled then re-installed several times but it hasn't work. Hope you can fix this and thanks for the help.

Did you just delet some files or did you uninstall it via Steam?

 

You might wanna ad "start with administrator rights" to the temporary solutions. I had constant crashes and even sound based bluescreens until i set "Start as Administrator" to the "Risk of Rain.EXE" file in the steam folder.

 

The Bandit's Dynamite Toss does not seem to get any effect from an active Shattered Mirror.

 

Since today i seem to be getting a error, i open the game and the sound doesn't play, i mean I've been playing since release and this hadn't happened to me until today, restarted my computer and it fixed it and i played with my mates, then i opened the game again later and did the same thing.
EDIT: I guess since they made us install the new redistributable it gave me the x86 one? instead of the x64 one, i installed that one and got rid of the old one and it seems to be working for now, but that could be just because of the restart.

I've gotten this before, but only in multiplayer. The only player couldn't see these monsters, and was able to complete the level, so I guess I was quite lucky.

I'm finding it impossible to complete the game currently since whenever I have a decent run and get to around the 120-150 minute mark the game freezes and I get a huge buzzing noise.

Playing Multiplayer. Normal Difficulty. And actually it's only ever happened after the other person has left the game. (Probably irrelevant though since it was a long time after they'd left each time.)

Uhh. You might wanna put that event description in a [plain] tag.

 

Most things in the 'Scores and Unlockables' show 0 - 0 kills, 0 gold, 0 bosses, etc. The 'totals' are also all 0 - 0 total gold, 0 total kills, etc. Frustrating to put several hours into the game and not see this information.

 

My Item Log shows items I've gotten before as shadowed/greyed out, and won't tell me any information about them.

I have been playing local multiplayer and every time we reach the final level we spawn in different areas of the ship. It's very annoying because it basically means one of us dies as we try to reach each other through the timed door unlocks.
