Oh man, that's awesome. I know what I'm trying when I get home.
As I scroll threw everything can be fixed very easly
Like in 10 seconds to max 5 minutes per bug.
BUG: I'm not sure if it suppossed to be but when I activated a teleporter in the 2. stage on easy diffic. 4 ducking bossses spawned. 2x this soul thing, 1x the worm and a normal enemy with 3x healbars. Obvously I died instantly ...
Yeah, it's weird how many bugs there are that have unusually simple fixes.
I'm wondering, has the dev ever answered ?
The most anoying thign for me is that the game does not run on Win XP.
it's supposed to deactivate narratively - the item log says the fungus hides underground at the first hint of danger.
The dev hasn't spoken since last Wednesday. I am kind of worried.
I play RoR on a very old PC with Windows XP, it runs normally... only the last level lags very hard, which seems to be a known problem (dunno if it's related to using XP)
Well, on my PC it crashes every time with acess violation.
Then trying it on my Win7 laptop it runs fine.
I can assure you the problem relates to your old PC, as I have a very old one, play on Windows 7, and I lag to all hell.
My PC is relativ new (4years with enwest hardware) and it dosn't even run
I found soemthing out :O!
The Acess Violation Error:
I think I found the reason!
Today when I launched it on my laptop I got the error.
I noticed steam wasn't running.
When I started Steam it was gone!
On XP PC it still dosn't run but could it be caused that it trys to find steam but can't?
Huh. Then I guess my computer can still be claimed to be quite powerful. xD
I've had my computer since around the late 90's to early 2000's, but it's also a custom build. Starting to die at this stage, though.
Anyway, continue with the bug reporting.
One weird multiplayer bug right here...the camera stopped scrolling along with me, leaving me on a single screen and unable to progress. Both of my partners were dead which might have had something to do with it.
My game and Steam just crashed the moment I unlocked the "Defeat Legendary Wisp without taking damage" achievement. I was being launched repeatedly on a jump pad, from the moment it spawned to the moment I killed it. Achievement sound played the moment I killed it, and then the game and Steam crashed before the achievement pop up window appeared.
Messing with the graphics options caused my resolution to blow up to steam-overlay levels. I fiddled around with the settings more, but couldn't get the resolution to return to normal, prematurely ending my monsoon run.
Screenshot in attachment. I'll note that I can only see the playable portion of the screen, not sure what's going on with the overlay in the background as it wasn't pulled up at the time of the screenshot. All I could see was the top left portion of the screen, maxed out to my screen's resolution.
This occurred when I toggled the "surfaces" setting in the Audio & Video menu.
I don't know if it is a bug or not, but after days of endless runs, I never had the Miner's tunnel. All others characters are unlocked for days, but this one...
it's all random man
So I am REALLY unlucky... (4 tries today, still never appears)
In comparison, I got the acrid every 2 or 3 runs...
Partway into the final level the screen started shaking like crazy, then when I killed this Scavenger all my UI dissappeared and the screen was locked onto the dead scavenger who was just standing there after I had already gotten an item from him (that is me on the ladder, A Banana).
Even after my allies hit the last boss starter my screen was still locked there, and I was forced to quit.
Much like Engineer's turrets, the lantern use item is planted mid-air if you use it while falling down:
