Bug: Fishing Pole Froze Me, and Game Time Continued

I was playing on a Friday, Yr 2 in Summer. I bought the Iridium Rod that day, and went to use it. It made a really strange animation where the fishing pole was not even in my characters hands. Then the third time I clicked it not aimed at the water, my character froze (as you'll see in the screenshot.)

I noticed the time kept going, so I thought maybe I could just wait until 2am for her to pass out. Well, as you can also see from the other screenshot... time kept going well past pass out hour. So I just closed my window and I'm guessing I'll have to start that day all over again. Just wanted to report the bug.

This is actually my second incident of fishing poles freezing my game, the first was during the ice fishing competition which I reported back when that happened too.

Windows 10, all settings as low as they go, playing game through Steam.

 

And then, when you were unfrozen, it was the 25th century!
