Hello I know how to edit the .xnb files and I want to make Fishing, for my Wife, as easy as possible without using SMAPI. I looked into the fish.xnb but I dont know what the Numbers in the Rows effect and i didnt find the File for the Fishing Game itself. Is there a way to make the Fish dont move at all or make the green bar so long that you cant loose the fish ?
Not without SMAPI. All you can do via XNB modding is to lower the difficulty values for each fish, and change them to the "Smooth" motion type. Lowering their difficulty, however, has the side-effect of reducing the fishing experience that you get, if I remember correctly.

Thank you I tried the mod before the problem was Im playing in German and I had to change the "Fish.de-DE.xnb" not the "fish.xnb" so the mod didnt had any effect for me and i thought its not up-to-date. Its working now.
