I don't know if this is the wrong place to post it, but is there a way to disable mods without getting rid of them? I mean, it's only since I use a character that has no mods. Only time I mess with mods is with friends.
How did you get the mods? The workshop or from here? Workshop mods need to be unsubsidized from. Manually installed mods can be disabled by renaming the folder to have a _in front of it and the game will ignore it.
