ok this has nothing to do with this, but wouldn't it be cool if we could have longfall boots and a handheld portal device in starbound? I mean if terraria can have a portal gun, then so could starbound
The hieroglyphics on the avian temple blocks look great. Very nice touch. (I haven't noticed them before).

It looks like a desert now, but I can't help but feel underwhelmed. In comparison to the insane change for forests, the desert seems almost lacking. I know, deserts aren't lush and full of stuff, but it just feels empty. Also, PLEASE tell me the giant destroyed ship background still exists. That was my favorite desert parallax. I'm saddened at the loss of the brain tree forest parallax, and losing the crashed ship desert one would just hurt.
Woaww the Dessert paralax Looks Amazing I dont know about you guys but the dev has done it again I tought the forest paralax looks amazing but thats just the first few . Can wait for the rest of biome paralax *cough*tentacle and swamp*cough*

Looking that that scenery... gives me the sudden urge to get a full-body red cloak and head off on a Journey.
That's what I thought too. I'm hoping the recent lapse of nightly updates means a new stable is hitting soon. A little communication could go a long way right now.
That looks very nice, especially at night... Makes me want to listen to the "Lawrence of Arabia" soundtrack again. And I can't wait for this to hit unstable, although it doesn't look like that is going to happen soon
