GUNS ACTUALLY HAVE PARTICLE EFFECTS NOW I'M UNREASONABLY EXCITED BY THAT EDIT: ALSO THE PROJECTILES LOOK SO MUCH BETTER
BWEEWWWWW comments aside, i think there should be an alternate cutscene for when you're flying in your ship while in the captains chair, you see something like this.
Oh my, lots of new and shiny things with this update. Not being able to reappear on my ship after logging out is gonna take some getting used to, but besides that, everything looks good.
So how long until someone makes a phone boot screen from that 'port anim? As the creator of the Felins, having played as a felin up to now on nightly: if they're recently updated they'll work.
They should do. I don't see why there's any reason for them not to. As long as they've been updated recently or frequently and don't conflict with part of the update, they'll work fine. This update is mostly focused on terrain generation, weapons and combat, anyway.
Really nice seeing how the next update will be. I saw the video for the challenge doors too and that really hypes me up, the possiblilites with that. I´d be really happy to see some incetive to party play, healing weapons, more party oriented equipment and such, as forming a party with friends or strangers and grouping up to explore those challenge doors, fighting strong monster and getting fat loot would be fun as heck
That quite the list of patch notes there. Lookin' quite impressive! *looks at the new teleport loading animation* There's a high chance that someone will mod that to plaid.
I think I got hypnotized at some point while reading this post I think...wait, where am I and what was I doing?
You know, I don't actually think so. I think it will be much earlier, like the last unstable-to-stable update was. The precedent is good. "It's time to go to... LUDICROUS SPEED!"
Looking good! Even if i don't necessarily play the game right now, i still check in daily to see what's going on I'll probably try the next stable update. Good work!
@metadept you guys figured out the solution to the change @kyren made to the Lua bindings? I'd like to get to work on Colonies again, and I cant do that without root.itemConfig Or throw every single item's JSON config into a Lua table.... and I refuse to do that right now.
