Its always nice to see world gen improved. the diversity and interest of the universe is important for a game like this.
Is it just me, or does the sand that's adjacent to the water in that beach biome look a little funny? Like the water's sort of permeating it and turning it a little blue. Is that just shadow or is it a new sort of interaction between some block types and water?
Hoping they will finally add scripted mobs to certain specific biomes to make things feel more legit at once! The randomness of mobs that make totally no sense on X place for me it got boring, it things more interesting things, scripted content mixed with the "random" generated one is the way to go.
I've been avoiding nightlies... but damned if this doesn't make me want to bare the burden of all the bugs and jump in! Deep!!!
*sigh* Another day, another biome I'll see turn to glass... (hopefully, someday, if orbital bombing becomes a reality)..
Looks way more interesting than the released version. I only ever explored desert planets as I hated the cave generation before.
Just a small criticism, tainting the sand around the water is a great idea, but it should just be tainted a darker sand color, because that is what sand does... either way, love the progress, cant wait to explore these myself!
