Really love the fact its such a general purpose tool. I have a feeling it will result in some really impressive builds.
I can see these leading to building automatic farms or something like that. Maybe a forcefield to protect villagers from aerial attacks. But I mainly see it as abother way to make traps and platforming puzzles to kill me even more frequently.
Please give. I already have 100 invention ideas to use these on. Also, this will be a fun way to further screw with players in challenge rooms.
Cat: *Is unimpressed* Devs might be approaching the "InGen Limit". Where they need to stop thinking if the could do something, and start thinking about whether they should do something.
Screw lifts. All my elevators will be rail guns from now on. Just gotta get the pulse sequence right and I'm flying in whatever direction I want. Way more stylish.
Plenty of nifty new gadgets... When are you adding irrigation? (I choose to remain hopeful... hence the "when" instead of the "if"...)
Hmmmmm.... Tractor Beam/Rail Gun abduction trap (taking the player to the stratosphere). Pushing or pulling into lava. Using multiple of these to create a hard to navigate room. Can't wait for the stable update that contain these.
There are all kinds of devious things I could do with this. And, for that matter, devious things that can and probably will be done to me. The first thing I'm thinking of is a motion-plate controlled rail-elevator. I'm also wondering if it works on liquids? I could totally see a mission being built around controlling these things. Perhaps even a boss, reminiscent of the Nightmare from Metroid Fusion.
Oh, and here I thought you were talking about my magnetic personality: yeah, right. More like the opposite of that, with people... =l
I'm here to protest against animal cruelty. The use of magnetism against a digital cat clearly is against all animal rights. Did it even consent to this? Was it even paid? Did you even give it kibble and bits for standing there to show us something this great?
