1+1 isn't equal to 1+2: Activeable have different actions depending on the controller

    I've been checking the Starbound mods on Steam, and I've got an idea:

    Since some things can be used, like prison cell and other things, they could
    cause different effects based on what activates it through wiring.

    I'll use the Apex Pod as example (even though it is not activeable, but whatever),
    if you activate it for example, with a genetic modification controller while there is
    some npc inside, for example, it could open a option to change the npc race and
    appearance, and if the player activates the controller without anything inside,
    the game will take the player as refference and show race modification window
    with the player information, and the player would have it's appearance changed when
    entering the pod.

    Now if you use a celular restoration controller on the Apex Pod, if the player enters the pod, or a npc
    is inside it after activating the controller, that character will gain a very fast health regeneration.

    That is all for my idea.
