Sleeker Glitch Chassis v1.4.3

More futuristic robot, less walking garbage bin!

  1. Concido
    Sleeker Glitch Chassis [v1.4.3]
    By Concido

    Overview:
This mod aims to make the Glitch look a little more like the futuristic robots they are, rather than the walking rubbish bins they look like now. The body has been made sleeker, the arms and legs no longer look like drainage pipes, and a few more lights have been added. Both heads have been modified as well, with taller eyes. Male faces are square similar to vanilla, whilst females have rounder faces with "eyelashes". Several vanilla head mods have also been adjusted to fit the new face better.

    Contains three versions:
A straight-up replacer version that will replace all Glitch.
A replacer that keeps the vanilla Glitch head.
A standalone version that adds the modified Glitch as a new race. (Requires an extended Character Creation Menu)

Also included are two optional folders. One removes the Joint-Lights from the body, the other adds roughly 300 head mods re-purposed from the Apex, Humans, and Hylotl. Both of these can be used on any version, and are compatible with each other if you wish to use both.

    Installation:
    Extract the archive
Open the folder for the version you wish to use (replacer or standalone)
Move the folder within to your mods directory (typically Steam\steamapps\common\starbound\giraffe_storage\mods).

    Optionals Installation:
Install your preferred version of the main mod
    Open the optionals folder
Choose which optionals you which to use
Open their folder, then the folder which corresponds to your main mod version
Copy the folder within into your mods folder
Merge/Overwrite anything it prompts you to

I love this mod because it makes the glitch look so high tech. ^w^

This is really good. The spritework and everything is amazing. The only problem I have with it is the fact that the face-compatible versions of the hairstyles/head mods in the replacer are an entire new set of headmods instead of simply replacing the non-compatible ones. This makes the mod a bit incompatible for multiplayer, which is a shame.. But other than that, it's a great mod!

This is really cool. Good sprite-work, by the way, quite well done. My only possible complaint would be that not everyone may like the lights on all of the joints, but you could solve that with an alternate version that doesn't have the light points on the body.

A suggested change that would go well with this chassis would be also changing the head options to better fit with the more sleek and futuristic look. Perhaps more synthetic hair head styles?
