Update Notes: This update is for the people on Orion's Edge, although any roleplayer can use the new currency system that I've implemented. The currency can be spawned in the Reno's Item Pack spawner and you can exchange denominations using the main crafting interface. (You'll need to reunlock Reno's Item Pack using the instruction in the mod's description in order to spawn and exchange the new currency, even if you've already unlocked the item pack before this update.)
Reno's Item Pack
A multiplayer-compatible way to spawn items.
Just what it says on the tin. This is a multiplayer-compatible way to spawn any item in the game.
It also adds some cheat items for the cheaters out there. :O
You can spawn some custom vanity items using the Vanity Spawner -- including costumes inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Doctor Who and The Smurfs.
There are twenty item spawning stations in total (not including the Reno's Item Pack station).
Notes
Installation
- Other players without the mod can still use the spawning stations as if they had the mod, but not the Reno's Item Pack station. (This can be used to allow your friends access to free objects and blocks whilst building!)
- You should re-unlock the item pack every update (I may add more stuff to by-hand crafting, like the currency system I just added).
- There's a new currency system, which is ideal for roleplay. The currency is tradeable with other players in multiplayer and there are multiple denominations.
Permissions
- Drop the mod into your mods folder (located in ${STARBOUND}/giraffe_storage/mods).
- Start Starbound and spawn Unlock Reno's Item Pack in the basic crafting dialogue. If the unlock doesn't show up in your crafting menu (which is the case if you're not using a new character), go into single-player, enter the following command and use the resulting item:
Code:/spawnitem portable3dprinter 1 '{ "tierRecipesUnlock": "renositempack" }'- Spawn Reno's Item Pack.
- Place the spawner and use it to spawn the spawning stations.
- Spawn whatever items you want.
I don't mind you using my mod in modpacks and modifying it. I just want to know who's doing it and why.
