Outdated Hang Glider 1.1.1

A tricky vehicle to make exploring planets more entertaining and varied!

Tired of running around while having a space ship? Your hand hurts because of the energy dash? Here's the answer: Hang Gliders!

    *new video will follow

    Explanation:
The hang glider get|s crafted at the crafting station. It is a tech so the blueprint has to be used and the activated in the tech station. To use it just jump up and press jump and left or right. The flight is separated in two alternating modes. It starts slowly falling and thereby taking up velocity. As soon as you lift your finger from the direction key, while still holding the jump key, the glider takes up while it's velocity decreases again. Before losing all speed, but long enough to raise in height, you need to press the direction button again. To spice these up and down a bit up you can increase it's speed significantly for the cost of energy to maneuver over bigger heights. But be aware that this can end in a crash if used in the wrong moment. All this together will hopefully result in a more entertaining and faster but still challenging way to explore all the planets.

Please share any problems or suggestions with me. Especially on the flight behavior. It's quite tricky to keep it balanced between being fun but not overpowered.

It looks very interesting and useful, but it's far too difficult to implement into the game. Just adding a tech into the game shouldn't have to make changes to any player files and it should work with existing characters, it's not like it's a ship or a whole new universe like with VITSOTU.

An interesting and potentially valuable addition, even if the controls are somewhat unintuitive (esp. regarding landing). Does need an icon distinct from the Rocket Jump tech icon, though.

Could you please explain it in more detail. What on the controls is unintuitive or how would you expect/like them to behave?
For the tech icon I firstly want to be sure the mod gets used and is fun before investing time in these things.

Pretty cool thing! Useful for jumping off the cliffs, but there is a problem that needs to be fixed - when you land, you're still taking damage from the fall

While I don't know a way to avoid that it's a wanted mechanic. You have to stop pressing the jump key before hitting the ground. I think it's more interesting that way, isn't it?
