So, I am actually a hobby/amateur cook and like to serve tasty dishes. But I suck at pasta dishes. Got hints? Its not about cooking, more like, what kinda ingredients you all seem to like so much :P
Wah? I'm quite skilled in how to handle noodles!
....scratch that line.
Its really mostly about the sauce and ingredients of the sauce, what's so good? There seem to be many different toppings, and they seem to be mostly the same no matter what type of noodle is involved.
Well, I don't know for others but we just take tomato paste stuff, minced meat, bell pepper and all kinds of stuff and just kinda throw it together and see whether it catches fire or not.
well when I have Alfredo sauce on my pasta I usually like to add grilled chicken but you can do that with marinara sauce as well. meatballs of course are good, and sometimes when you do marinara sauce I like it when there ares still some chunks of tomato which is good as well. YOU NEED TO ADD PARMESAN!!! if you want kind of a plain pasta I suggest you just add olive oil or butter and some cheese on top.
The Spaghetti I usually cook have an intense taste. No meatballs but a bit of fresh minced meat grilled with pepper, then: tomato sauce, italian spices (mostly basil), more pepper, chilis, a VERY SMALL pinch of mustard, a bit of "rosemary and thyme", a bit of garlic, a bit of strangely-some-find-insulting ketchup and obligatory sriracha sauce.
