What Zoom Level do you prefer?

The game starts out at 3x zoom, but I find that I can't really see enough around me unless I'm at 2x. Then there's some people who mod the game to zoom out even more, for building and whatnot. I'd like to see someone that plays at 4x. At that point it get really pixelly.

What zoom level do you prefer?

 

Maybe x4 zoom can be usefull on a very big TV, or home cinema, or in a cinema. Or when eyeglasses get lost.

I do prefer x2 zoom, and I'dl like to try unzoomed =p

 

I play at 2x and for some reason my friend plays at 4x
when we are playing together I can see the monster coming long before he can, and its fun to let him learn its there by it attacking him... all while im safely out of reach

 

Yeah I tried playing at 4x once and I fell into a lava pit and got eaten by monsters

 

I play at 2x, 3x don't work for me except for screenshots, and 4x makes Lintton blind as a bat.

Would like to try less though to building shots.

 

I actively switch it around as I play. I commonly play on 1x zoom, sometimes less. When I'm feeling fancy I go 4x or much more to play dress up.

 

3X to keep up FPS after 1.0.

Mid 70's now.

 

I've always found that zooming in makes it harder to see my character, because of pixels and whatnot, but to each his own

Also, how much more than 4x do you go?

 

I always play at 4x, I just like it better. Not much of a good reason but it's the reason

I stick with 3x, popping to x2 for mapmaking purposes.

 

I usually do default for normal gameplay.
I will use x4 for RP purposes, or realism.
x2 is usually used for large structures, raids, or scenery purposes.

 

I like the zoom all the way in my face so i can do faces at it.

 

Whichever one is the most zoomed out. I'm at a stage where I can't play any other way.

 

x0.5 is what I want. x2 is what I get.

Edit: You can manually set a zoom level in your starbound.config ( "zoomLevel" : 2 for 2x).

 

I'm totally going to screw around with that now.
