What do you think the next race will be?

How racist! It's not their fault they're manufactured beings :c

 

Well umm.. I didn't try to be racist at all..
I'm just pointing out the fact that they are an extremely young and unnatural race and can unpredictable. I still don't trust the mushroom people, not until I'm sure they won't bite off my leg when I'm not looking.

But i still think they count as a race because of what i've previously said.

 

The shape of the head that had been broken off is round. An agaran's head cannot be seen as round in any way.

 

Its ruining the Perfect Form of a Humanoid, slowly. So therefore extermination is the answer.

Actually, it makes as much sense as gas people. Rock people would be nice addition, actually.

 

But... how do we know that the apex weren't elves before the V-E process? (I think that's what it's called.)
I mean, they were described as similar to humans...

But that also means that the gate was built after the apex were physically devolved.

Like those from the Faster Than Light? Then maybe a Crystal race would be even better.

I strongly believe that the 8th race will be Crystal Sapiens who are a very ancient race filled with history and knowledge. They seem capable of building the gates and contrasting well with the other races...please no more bipedal animals.

Out of the highly suggested Lizard race and Insect race I completely disagree with lizards but can understand the insect, like an ancient space hive with a giant queen bug creating endless minions that created the gates, their capability of colonizing planets would be insane it actually fits quite well to be the antagonist and or the superior race.

 

The thing is, that the gates seem to have decorative carving of tentacles on the top.
So it probably HAS to do something with those tentacles.

 

I really don't think that the missing face is for an 8th race, so much as it's for the Forerunner-like race that existed before the others and raised up several of their societies in the lore.
