Well, I don't really know much about pokemons. The only thing I heard is that they are cute - I think this one is cute enough.
Tried to accomplish two goals: learn to draw smoke, learn to draw tree texture.

Here is some improvised pokemon-card. I found some cards on the internet, but did't understand them. So I did it my own way.

I suppose in phrase "you'd love to see in-game" you meant "in starbound". So here is a starbound sprite.


All three are the parts of one art piece. I'd put them on single canvas, but it looked ugly.
but if I have to choose one of them, then I'd select the first one.

This guy is old

This was my first attempt at spriting in the style of the Pokemon games.
It's not that the character itself was difficult to make, it's just that every time I started working on him I'd start to add too much detail and he'd look like he wasn't a Pokemon, but from an entirely different game.
I hate working in limiting styles :/
