So, big damn explosion. Melts a bunch of stuff. Camera doesn't melt, break, or get hit by flying bits because reasons.

its five yards away.... the explosion was INSIDE the lab, and the lab is made of Iron, and Steel panneling with Aluminum frameworking, there isn't much fucking shrapnel from a Incendiary bomb,

 

Except the door coming off like you said it did.
