The Demon Syndicate​

This thread is for clan-related RP. If you are not a member, please go to the clan OOC thread first, read the rules, and fill out an application as well.​

RP-specific rules:

• No godmodding
  • (read this plox: http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/what-is-godmodding.13277/)
• Characters must be balanced, this means:
  • No OP abilities (manipulating reality, controlling other characters, spawning way to many objects, etc.)
  • Powerful abilities can't be spammed (need a cooldown time or something)
  • Characters must have legit weaknesses, ones that may affect combat (more than just "doesn't care about dying" because that can be seen as a positive, i.e. fighting w/o fear)
    • No mary-sue characters. Pick a specialty. "Jack-of-all-trades" is not a specialty.
  • If you're in a serious PvP fight, you are probably going to have to take a few hits. No super long stallmates plz.
• Continuity must be maintained
  • No appearing randomly, without a reasonable explanation.
  • No unrealistically wandering away from or into battles or conversations.
  • Try to make up a reason, when you're logging off for sleep.
  • For clarity, if you are responding to a specific person, or referencing a post, quote it. If you don't quote, there's no context, and it gets hard to follow.
• Keep the pace reasonable
  • Give people a chance to keep up.
  • Try and make posts of the highest quality possible, and avoid single sentence posts whenever possible
  • Try to embellish your posts with things like stage directions (what your char is doing while talking), and describe things like body language and tone of voice.
  • When you're writing a reply, open a new tab, refresh the RP thread, and make sure another person hasn't changed the situation, and if they have, amend your post accordingly.
  • Minimal OOC is fine in the RP but try to keep it reasonable. Take OOC conversations to the OOC Thread.
    • In this thread, indicate OOC stuff ((like this plox))

Current status of characters:​

Tar is down is just on his way to the catacombs after his major injuries, with Pangaea's orb​

Luna has just started Zeta in the throne room and Omin hasn't quiet convinced Ivory to be on his side yet​

Katrika has just left Lily's lab leaving an ice wall in the door​

Lucia is with Enigma almost up to Xertra's room​

And Kalissa and Xertra are still started chatting with the random Drider, they won't be pushed back​

Arawn and Maeja are also wherever they left off and are unaffected by the time being pushed back​

Any character not mentioned here is fair game as to where they are, as long as they don't pop themselves somewhere with other conflicts listed​

BEGIN!​

 

Tar made his way into the catacombs. He was limping, bleeding, bruised, cut, stab, crushed. All around terrible condition. One of his eyes was blackened. He was bleeding from his mouth and internal injuries. His vision was starting to go black, but he pushed on. He had a small orb in his hand. It was his daughter, Pangaea. He had to find Amber, and the other slimes. They'd keep her safe.

But he had to go back soon. He had to fight Luna again. She needed to die for hurting his daughter. And above all for putting herself higher than Xertra. She will die.

First however, Tar needed to live to be able to kill her. He had gotten fairly close to the springs by now. They should be able to hear him if he called them right?

"Amber...! Areiss...!" He called out. He was weak, but his voice was loud.

 

Syth was in the mess hall. He had another cup of tea in front of him. He'd drinking a lot in the time he'd been there.

The human sat with his head in his hands. His sword, sitting quietly next to him. The clothes he wore were ones from a while ago, but now clean and well fitted. One of his arms was black and shimmered like metal. A robotic hand for sure.

He'd been hearing noises and sounds of battle, but who cares? In a demon place like this, that could be anything.

It did prevent him from sleeping, which was why he was in the kitchen now. Alone. He sat in the corner of the room. The rubble and roof had been repaired by someone, castle staff maybe? Who knows. Who cares.

*What have I gotten myself into...in this place...* Syth thought.

 

Both of the slimes could hear Tar shouted and came to his air almost immediately. Amber running up to him and immediately putting her arm around him to help him walk "what the hell happened?"

Zeta knew full well this battle would be in vain, it wasn't worth dyeing over, and knew she had no chance against Luna alone. She shouted to Omin "it's not worth it, I'm busting a hole in the wall, let's go." And with that, she lifted her own giant fist from the ground and punched the stone wall Luna had put up for the door completely out and ran out, hoping Omin would do the same before Luna would stop him. Luna chuckled "weaklings."

Katrika after leaving the two inside the lab now made her way over to the throne room.

Lucia walked with Enigmas until they reached Xertra's room, now just in front of it.

 

Tar didn't say anything. He was almost unconscious at this point. He just grunted and leaned on her, losing the strength to stand in his legs.

 

Amber was horribly worried about her. She started calling out to other slimes to come help. A bunch rushed over, setting up somewhere for him to lay down. Amber laid him down as a couple of slimes starting using their healing magic on him "Tar, talk to me."

 

" Alright want me to ask her master? "

 

Lucia nodded "we need to find out where Xertra is."

 

Enigma knocked on the door and walked in.

 

Tar barely knew where he was. But he saw Amber. He had a sudden fear his other daughter was hurt as well.

"A...Areiss...?" He asked.

 

Erika looked to Enigma, she was sitting on the bed at the time "yes?" She asked casually.

Ariess was sitting right next to Amber. Amber dove down onto him when he spoke "oh god, thank god your okay!"

 

Throughout the catacombs a strange melody could be heard.
It was coming from a rather odd purple door located deep within.

 

Tar didn't say anything. He did put his arm around Amber though. Then he slowly held up a small orb. He held Amber tighter.

"P-Pangaea...she..." He began.

 

Enigma looked over at Erika.
" Oh... Well hello there. Erika whould you happen to know where Xertra is? "

 

Amber took the orb in her hand and stared at it for a moment "is... she in here?"

"Xertra? She..." Erika looked to Lucia "who's she?"

 

Tar coughed up some blood. He sighed. "That is her...orb."

 

Enigma looked over at Lucia.
" Oh well... She arrived at the castle a while back. We need Xertra's permission so she can become a member of the syndicate. "

 

A changeling scout checking the neighboring caves in case of unwanteds coming too close to the hive entrance heard the faint melody from the catacombs. Obviously distraught by this, she rushed back to the hive to gather reinforcements to investigate it....


Fortunately for them, Kara got word of it, since she's the bloody queen, and decided to investigate herself.... with the scout that heard the noise of course...

The two made their way into the caves, then the catacombs, where the melody became stronger and stronger as they sought the source of it out.... eventually reaching a purple door...

 

Upon them reaching the door, the melody was at its loudest, the strange music forming strange symbols as it escaped form behind the door.
