Tell me your Starbound challenge!

On that post, I would want you to tell me what challenge you had made for starbound.
That can be anything... like playing without tech (except the nano suit)
You limit how many healing item you can use for a planet/boss.
You use no crafted weapon, only the found one.
etc...

For me, I am going to start a game where I changed the capture pod recipes so I can
craft some for only some pixel without the need to be more advance.
With that character, I had NO right to hurt any monsters using weapon or item.
I only can use captured creatures and capture pods.
Two exceptions:
-The first creature I capture
-The first boss (I can't kill it without using switch )

I still don't have choose the maximum of creatures I can use but that will not be too much...

A big difficulty will be the bosses and dungeons...
Not only because of the possibility of insta kill but also because if I die,
EVERY creature still there will be lost forever

But still, that will be challenging, specially with the IA.

So, anyone with a challenge?

 

It doesn't count as a challenge but i give myself vital goals everytime, like everything i do is for achieve that goal, most of the times are certains items, so i go from star to star searching every surface chest.

 

I do this challenge both on the game and on the forum

I must type everything with only using the telekinesys power of my man nipples

 

i never really craft weapons. i only use weapons that i find around, until i get to the manipulator/separator/theotherone tier.

but thats more like a preference than a challenge.

 

Build a house.

Perhaps the most challenge of challenges will be make a musical video of starbound, like those.

Well, I did a challenge once where you couldn't take anything from the starter chest.
At all.
Including the MM.
Thankfully I managed to find a village with a copper pick on that planet, and some weapons, so that was good.

 

I only use certain weapons as certain races. For example, Floran only use spear. Sure, Floran can stab with hammer, but that takes so much energy...

Apex use axes (chopping block), Humans use hammers (they're equally subtle), Glitch use swords, Novakids use guns, and Hylotl use soy sauce (make them more tasty for Floran).

 

I still use rubium armor on volcanic planets, makes things into not getting hit ever (because melee attacks from monsters will kill in 2 hits) rather than like, five.

Lol ill raise u one more, My game now only spawns Tier 10 which is difficulty Extreme, Insane, Incalculable, Inconcievable, UNREAL
and all planets spawn 2 dungeons.

Good for me with little time i can always have fun challenging fights hehe

 

Well... I got a problem with my challenge.
I can't beat the UFO.
The captured creatures don't have ranged attacks and they don't have the time to attack it when it go down :s

 

no armor challenge: your not allowed to craft armor (is impossible)
possible no armor challenge: your not allowed to wear armor when fighting things (includes bosses, common enemies, friends, and dungeons)

 

Well... I used a weapon and one of my monsters had finish it. That was impossible other way...

Also, I had find a bug on the tame monster IA:
They don't attack the penguins except if they get hurt by them.
Even if they are close of them, if they hurt me or/and I attack them, my tamed monsters don't attack them.
I have the impression that's the same thing with the UFO
