I'm pretty sure the game will just be on PC initially, but they were porting it to consoles after. PS Vita might be a possibility, if the devs view it as worthwhile.

Psh, Sony is all for letting Indies develop for their consoles. I don't see the Starbound devs spending their time on getting it Vita-ready, though. I'd love to have it that way, but I don't see it happening.

The PS Vita has the power, but lacks the support.
That just about sums it up.

Basically that, the Vita is the smallest market in the "mainstream" gaming community.

Something about the Wii U and upcomming Xbox One makes me think this is just a bit off, or soon to be.

We aren't really making predictions here, it's more about current state.

Thanks, sometimes I get really confused about simple stuff.

Sadly I'd have to say no. Did you actually purchase the PS Vita hoping to do something useful with it?

If it isn't already apparent I'm being sarcastic.

As Wox said before I'd wait to see how the game functions in a complete state before I would start worrying about ports.

    I wouldn't want to hurt a Sony fan's feelings.

    Better?

    Meh. :meh:
I think you're trying to hard to come across sarcastic, you're losing some of the point you're trying to make.

  14. Quantum

    That's the point.

The point is that you're not quite making the point you're trying to make?
Well, it's been great chatting with you glad you could express that.

No the point is that the sarcasm has no point. My point was already made in my first post.
It's been nice chatting with you as well. :gooby:

    :wut:

I'm almost positive that you have no idea what you're talking about,
the only margin of error I'm giving myself, is because you might think you've been saying something different from what you have been saying.

Steambox is a valve linux OS console that ranges from able to run LoL to as powerful as one of those 2000 dollar homemade PC's that kick ass.

Notable is its extremely complex controller:
    12-14 buttons, not sure
    1 trackball (interchangable)
    1 Analog stick (interchangable)
Heart meter (Planned to be used in L4D3, so if your hearts beating faster, it will add more zombies to the game)
    Motion Sensor (I think)
    Biometric measuring

    alot of shit.

    Heres a sketch of it!

The Valve controller is patented, dont build your own and rush off to the patent office.
