simply put, I suggested 3D Anaglyph Mode aeons prior to the release of the Starbound beta, and was wondering if someone could make or help me make a mod to make it possible. did an example in photoshop for what I want: Basically: Foreground blocks and characters don't change Background blocks have about 5% depth and Paralax backgrounds have 10,15,and 20% depth depending on how many there are. Or whatever has the most depthy effect. 3 types of anaglyph glasses exists, Red/Cyan, Amber/Blue, and Magenta/Green. It'd be neat if this were made possible as a mod. however I doubt it, idk the extent of modding ability.
I imagine the parallax backgrounds would be the eaisier part of the project, just replace the textures. Could be done with a team and have all the vanilla parallaxes done in not too long. Having blocks do it'd be tougher though. Might mean rendering everything twice.
