Geez, I already put the miningmech folder in the assets;tech folder. Also, I modified the player.config appropriately. I have the parts and yet I can't see the Mining Mech in the Metalworks stuff... Offended Koala here. Do I have to create a new char or something:

Would appear to be working with the current version, however upon learning it seems to give all of your characters the technology. Not too sure how or why.
Followed install instructions, when trying to equip the Tech the game crashes, freezes out and I have to close it. Also I'm seeing to Mining Mech Tech in my list of techs.. for whatever reason.. idk but I give up, uninstalling.

Awesome update, those carbon rich and exposed core planets in the New Horizon's mod don't stand a chance now.
I really like these suggestions. Also, since this is a mech, which is an enclosed environment - presumably with environmental control (life support) - shouldn't it allow characters to mine on airless worlds or underwater... until the energy runs out and it shuts down?
