So with the new update coming out later today (presumably), I'm going to need to update my personal race mod that I had worked on way back when. I decided that the best course of action that would allow me to play the race ASAP would be to 'duplicate' on of the pre-existing races and simply change the race sprites themselves. This would allow minimum modifications to the mod as well make it easier to add on to. So my question is what is the best way of doing that? xD
You would be better off using this jumpstart kit: http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?resources/new-race-jumpstart-kit.2408/ There are a fair number of files to copy, so using this gentleman's mod as a base would actually be easier (if I were to tell you what files to copy and rename, you would just end up with something that is like the jumpstart kit anyway). Edit: This assumes that this pack won't need to be updated with the supposed upcoming update.
