I'm not currently sure if I'll continue to update this thread. I'm going to wait for Starbound to progress for a while before deciding. Latest Three: (4 samples of many possible combinations for this animation - 2 skin colors, 6 body-clothes each, 6 headpieces each, 5 male+5 female hairstyles each, and then special clothing for unique characters. Did this for the walking animation as well.) Beyond Lemon and Lime A *cough* completely serious *cough cough* questline involving a race of lemon and lime creatures. It will take place on a desert planet, with the two races on opposite sides of it. If Starbound retains my interest and I have enough time to create more sprites and learn how Starbound's mod-programming works, I hope to finish this as well as four other questlines. If not, I'll at least be providing people a ton of artwork to work with. Sorry for the DoublePost-Necro-Bump, but I figured I would post to say I put up a couple of Squirtle Squad sprites and a happy bouncing rock. Prolly gonna post some more somewhat soon, since I've got a nice long winter break.

I realize i'm incredibly late in replying, sorry about that, but thank you very much! I've been inactive for a while, but I plan on updating this thread fairly regularly now - Didn't upload many animations this time around, but I've uploaded a few things in the ??? and Scraps sections of the first post. Thankya! I believe it's been about a year since I started making my own pixel art. About four years ago, I would take sprite sheets from Spriter's Resource and make little animations with them in Photoshop. None of it was my own art of course, but it taught me a good bit about sprite animations. Fire Emblem, Kirby, and Golden Sun games were especially inspiring. Thankyooou! I definitely wouldn't mind doing tutorials - Photoshop can be a pretty irritating program sometimes, so I might make one to help people out a bit. Also, I'll be animating the sprite you mentioned soon - I'm reconsidering her design a little, and I'll be giving her some simple animations after that.
