    Interesting additions (blocking and enemy attack) -sounds like the game will be more strategic then Terraria ever was.

    Blue, in the screenshot of the penguins, the torches are placed directly on the background/wall. I haven't seen that mentioned before, so I thought I'd point it out.

    so it's probably save to assume there won't be a for-forground-type layer? like fences, or similiar object in front of everything?
     
  7. Tiy did a bit of Q&A session just now, but I haven't had time to dig through the entire log. Here it is if anyone wants to have a look (Note: it's lengthy as I didn't remove all the non-Tiy stuff, maybe try CTRL+F).

If the sneak items are good enough

    So to me it seems that the block by block building will be its own mode, something that you would switch between (combat or building mode)

    NOTE: I somehow deleted one thing Tiy mentioned after being asked about alchemy. There won't be alchemy but something they haven't announced that is similiar and interesting.

    Shield Combat
