I discovered that when I reached the moon, building my moonbase, manually deleting excess panels with my slow diamond drill. tfw

 

Fine sand is the best for filling up poison and lava. It falls around the vines and is quick to dig up after to recycle. The tumbling nature is also handy to dump it in the air and let it fall and cover other things.

 

When I first started...

I wish I had known that all my characters share the same universe.
I deleted a lot of characters of which had tons of good stuff on them to share with the characters that I wanted to keep as I didn't realize they were all in the same universe and that I could build a house with one character on a planet and then travel there with another character to continue building or to pick up loot I put in chests.

 

I wish I had known that matter dispensers explode when you activate them. Sure enough I found out while playing hardcore mode...
