They mentioned Steam Early Access for the Beta release. Games in Early Access are categorized as Alpha or Beta stages and need to be purchased knowing that bugs or issues might exist. Sometimes people get an Early Access game and complain, but most people understand what they are purchasing.
I think not. For the people asking for both http://t.co/arUmXPLX20 [Edit] the link again is posted by Tiy on Twitter.
Perfect timing! I'll be getting my new PC in no time so I don't have to worry about the performance issues the first phase might have. And I said it, definitely going for Phase 1! I've been waitinng nearly 2 years, can't wait any longer, just can't!
On the optimization question, I run a bootcamp Macbook pro so it isn't such an issue. But, will the stage 1 of beta be testable on OSX?
Buried at page 40, but does anyone know what type of bug reporting they will use? Will it be something outside the game or internally built so they can get a register dump from the game?
My guess is the forum, maybe a separate section only for bug reports and bug related stuff but I just don't know for sure, just wait for it to be released, then we'll see.
Meaning that steam gets more frequent updates than humble bundle. I don't think too many people would have an issue with that - it's reasonable given the circumstances. Pretty sure I've seen both confirmed by devs. Can't recall where off the top of my head though.
