This is why they keep me in my Code Monkey Cage and feed me Code Monkey Bananas, far far away from Code Monkey Zoo Visitors. I tend to fling Code Monkey Poo.

You sir have renewed this truck drivers interest in learning more coding when I'm not running food around everywhere so people can buy food from stores. Yes I'm a truck driver that owns a 130k truck and hauls food around. I have a custom cabinet in my truck with my desktop hooked in and a 25inch monitor mounted.

Awesome update. This is what's most interesting. Mostly seeing why I don't work in game development but have a handy 9-5 where I'm not "important" enough to work on customer issues and just implement stuff ^_^.

 

That sounds pretty awesome. My father was an 18-wheeler driver. Mostly hauled around vegetables, and then vans at a different job. I rode with him over a few summers in elementary school. Very lonely, but an eye opening experience.

 

As long as things are coming along, I'm sure everyone will be happy.

 

Call me crazy, but I enjoy reading code stuff.

 

I took a read through the post, and it seems like HTML likes mangling template parameters, who knew? (I did, but I forgot to double check because I'm an idiot.)

Anyway, I fixed the spacing issues and the html eating < and > issues and such. So the code portions ought to be more readable now.

 

Why do i have to hate looking at code specifically so much... I understand everything said ABOUT the code, such as this looking at that, and why this returns that if this or that finds the other thing, but looking at the code itself, my eyes just kind of roll back into my head and look into my brain and just tell it "Nope. Not comprehending that."

One of my friends has become a pretty experienced programmer for a growing company and is getting paid pretty well (and it will be rising quickly on top of that.), and i wish i could get in on that kind of job. My brain just shuts off looking at any code.

 

I think coders have a mandatory level of insanity to be met with such crazy bug finding skills.

I know I would go insane with all that technical coding crap. Keep the code monkey typewriters chirping, Omni, master of the coding primates.
