Lovely... more crafting options are always welcome! And... so pretty!

Presuming that you'll also evolve past tiered armor/weapons to allow more block crafting as well, in the future? As a builder I'd hope to be able to craft my own blocks rather than steal a crap-ton from every vessel/outpost/town/ um... floating dungeon I run across. Hopefully, 'eh? :giggle:

ok what ever that thing is with the rotating gear, I think some one will probably lose a hand to it.

Might be some form of Matter Generation Device? Oh wait, that might be a 3D Printer? Nope, probably a Macerator?

So, we can now craft a clockwork variant of the TARDIS console.

This sounds great! I agree that floating space dungeons will add much more, much-needed variety to the game. Perhaps you may be able to design the system to choose certain dungeons depending on the distance from its star, or what planet it may be orbiting, if any.
(Dungeons on the star's surface with a heat meter that you need to watch would be interesting, but that would be ridiculous. o_O)

If that's the video I'm thinking off, are you really sure you want to compare yourself (and your actions) to that guy? Especially what I seem to remember about the remote...

I'm not sure if CF is just communicating more or they hired a robot to do more work, but it seem that are working on a lot of awesome stuff lately and making real progress!;)

It'd be nifty if you could rescue NPCs from direlict space stations and abandoned ships. NPCs that had different tasks and functions, sorta like helping your ship get built faster/for less pixels, more upgrade options, weapon specialists, scientists and engineers who could create neat new features for the ship, etc.
