So many updates! Loving the transparency guys, better than a ton of other games who's development is very concealed.
This is turning out to be the worlds longest foreplay session. Stop teasing and give me my patch, you cruel bastards. Oh. Well, I never liked Fido much anyway.
Awesome, but it suggests that people are litterate enough to read "WARNING THIS IS MOST LIKELY BUGGERED". I foresee many angry posts in the future from the "wnat updat noaw!" kids.
Then complaining it's broken when it doesn't start because they read "AUTOMATED SCRIPTED NIGHTLY UPLOADS" then quit reading and signed up without knowing the consequences.
I have 2 things to say to this... 1) Thanks for squishing bugs so we don't see them! 2) At least the nightly builds don't harm our doghouses!
I know exactly how you feel. I write scientific computing code. I spent most of last week chasing down a bug that turned out to be an index returning its size incorrectly. But hey, one line fix.
Hmmm.... more importantly, will it eat your homework? Seriously though, good compromise to solve the "wah! no updates" crowd, while maintaining a working version for those of us whom are patient. Well done, , well done.
Keep working. Harder. HARDER! Until your fingers bleed and eyes fell! MOUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... ... What I was talking about? Oh yeah, thanks for the news!
Any idea when the sectors will be merged into one universe? (I figure 2015+ but hey I can dream) Loving the updates overall, and I love the idea of nightly updates pushed to Steam so we can mess about and see what -else- you broke Yet.
I'm looking forward to the first "Starbound ate my house!" post. I think it would be funny, especially if the screenshot shows Starbound's version of "Eater of Worlds". Or a giant meteor, because those used to be all the rage.
Yay! Steam updates! It will be good to have the option to download some of this work you're currently teasing us with. Awesome, if potentially world-and-ship-save-breaking.
I dont care if we get constant stuff that has a Russian Roulette attached, just give us SOMETHING to sink our teeth into so we can get some more feedback rolling around. It is still Beta after all. It's Beta for a reason.
