This is pretty awesome. Raises a question though. Will npc's who man the shops be randomly generated?
IT'S A TRAP !! When you will come near, a tantaculous monster will go out and eat you You know, something like this :
In response, Citizens Against Terrormart have started protesting the unsafe working conditions (tentacle monsters = bad), the low wages, and the constant threat of the shop being broken down by some fool with a pickaxe while the guards merely look on and make random comments. Also, the irony of a Floran selling plant fertilizer to the sibling of someone she just stabbed and used to feed her plants.
if you did buy the gold tier pre-order with npc name can a shopkeeper have your name? that would be cool.
Gardening supplies, huh? So, seeds... but what else? Possibly decorative plants and and maybe special hoes? (Wow, that sounds dirty.) I suppose Floran light-plants would count, too, possibly. "Floran buy plant, plant on sship. Sship choked by vinesss, not fall apart!"
I think there should also be a shop that sells certain bricks that you cannot craft, like pipes or steel beams. (It is frustrating that one must find and destroy generated structures to obtain certain blocks.) Also, if this is a 'repurposed' shipping container, an intact one should be present for use in game -- perhaps as a storage container with a very large capacity; one of my largest annoyances in Starbound as it is thus far is running out of space to store things.
Gardening supplies... from a Floran... >_>; ... Just as long as the plants don't go "Feed me, Seymour!" then I'm not gonna question it. Anyway, on a serious note, a few topics back there was talk of tiered farming with low tier plants growing faster than higher tier plants, right? I take it one can purchase fertilizer and/or advanced farming blocks, like hydroponics blocks, from the TerramarT to speed up the process, yes?
