I'm not part of the unstable branch, but I WANT THOSE FLOWERBEDS.

Great job once again!

EDIT : I wanted to ask, is the new planned progression system going to make the game linear? I don't know much about it, but right now I an not a fan of the idea.. :S Enlighten me please!

 

Is it for Beta v. Enraged Koala - Update 7, protocol 642 we got recently ( 90mb ) or any new one coming ?

Still having troubles with FPS, but I'll find out what's wrong anyway.

Are we ever going to be able to mine/craft/place different kinds of cobblestone? Will we eventually be able to craft other types of blocks, namely those found in dungeons? (mining entire glitch castles for blocks is a slow process)

Keep up the good work!

 

To touch on that idea, it actually would be kinda cool if you could buy/obtain recipes to craft different block types and possibly exclusive furniture. Maybe even have a workshop NPC who exclusively sells crafting/cooking recipes. Just a suggestion.

only one order of magnitude lower than the frequency we were told to expect updates.... circa new year's.

not that i'm complaining about the pace... a week is reasonable. however, CF should avoid these unrealistic "promises".

 

I want those flowers.

yea, 12 hours is almost as good as the three it took for the stable patch notes.

 

Hi hello I have a problem. Upon finally playing after the update i discovered something rather horrifying. My fuel thing is missing as well as my ship chair that enables me to select planets. Therefore I am literally stuck in my ship with nowhere to go other than the planet I'm currently at. Please send help.

Edit: My tech/scanner thingy is missing too.

 

How, specifically, do I DOWNLOAD the unstable branch? I couldn't find the button on steam. Also, is it possible to set the unstable version to have a second install directory?

 

you may have to delete your shipworld in the game's data files. i suggest moving anything you cannot carry to the planet before doing so.

in steam library, right click starboiund, select properties, and select the beta tab. select option "more beta than beta" from the dropdown.

possibly, but i do not know the exact procedure offhand.

 

Does this create a new install directory, do you know, or does it just sort of download stuff and overwrite the previous version?
