As i said previously, all IT projects are often delayed, and over budget, don't worry tiy, i think most people realize that delay only means a better end result, nor are you just teasing people with a game you've done and singing " can't touch this" to the crowd.
Take your time, and stick with " its ready, when its ready". and totally correct, blizzard is also a example of notorious for long development time, but most of their products are rather well off. (although i feel their world of warcraft expansions are more like ... CoD with giraffes edition).

Take your time, develop a magnificent game, and we'll be here, i doubt your fanbase will grow into retirement just because you've needed some delay

 

Take as long as you need, this game is worth waiting however long it takes to make it perfect, of that I'm confident.

Go ahead, as long as it's not another Half-Life 3 wait I'm more than happy to wait.

 

Too much time allocated can cause Sleep Deprivation and may screw up some of your work. Just remember to go to sleep early.

 

Just take your time guys. Don't make it a Duke Nukem Forever 2.

It's all good Tiy, you have all the time in the world (not really).

 

As long as beta estimation is still "This year" I'll remain happy. If it changes to "Early 2014" I will STILL remain happy and so on.
The amount of work the team is putting into the game proves it's going to be one that I get more than my money's worth from.
I'm talking 10-15 hours of playtime per dollar I spent.
Think about this, guys: Getting paid 15-20 dollars an hour, if you play Starbound for a single hour, it paid itself off.
You're going to spend 100+ hours on the game. Don't have a fit because of a delay when you KNOW you're going to get what you want out of the release.

I'll miss the game if it's gonna be released this year...
