I CANNOT wait to see the bosses, I just want to see their attacks and animations, I LOVE pixel art animation, so these bosses will be like eye candy to me Also for those of you who have seen my "Massive bosses" thread, I really hope the bosses turn out that way , just massive hulks of pixels.
good job starbound devs all the biomes seemed too match perfectly with the type of world they were on and the animals that i saw seemed too belong in the environment.
In the update post it said at the end, right before linking the video: "Here’s a somewhat updated idea of what to expect.." This leads me to believe that more diversity will be added
I dont know what to type really... DARNIT... 2 minutes later... I guess im hyped? Will there be Mini-Biomes that indicate past impacts (Giant craters, Astroid impacts, etc...), Volcanos and such?
im gonna live on a planet thats completely barren and colonize it and give it life the life will be very viscous and kill all intruders on my planet
Really very breathtaking. I felt a primordial chill crawl down my back as I watched the multitude of worlds slowly pass by. These worlds are brilliantly alien, and there's a breath of dreams and nightmare about it all that that both fascinates and repulses. The music too, is simply beautiful. Thank you all very much for your hard work on the project. It all seems so terribly fun.
It's Starbound, i'm sure there will be You can use pickax's and other sorts of mining equipment to dig through the planets layers of rocks and minerals collecting the resources as you go. Pickax's will have a sort of "durability" but won't break, they will just need to be sharpened with some stones or something to regain their original "speed" and "power". Also, depending on the planet i'm sure the resources down under will differ. Very basic minerals and resources like iron or copper may appear on nearly every planet because it would be needed for basic crafting and such, but some planets would have its own unique ores and resources. Now I can't be certain if all of this is true but this is my guess based on things i have seen and heard, I am sure someone else on here could answer your question better.
That's for sure, what would be awesome is that such new biomes affect gameplay itself, and to be not just the same only visually different, is that what makes one game like this great, we don't end into repetitive gameplay.
