This is a bit of a late answer but.

I want a new main character, ash is the most bland person ever with little to no character development. Though to be fair I think ash is bland so that young kids can imprint themselves as him.


Then again I would take the Ash Warframe with a pokemon cap over ash anyday.

 

That's exactly what I want, either give ash some actual character development or just scrap him. I find no joy in things when characters always stay the same.

 

I get the feeling that each series is meant to be somewhat of an individually contained story, given that it would be targeted at children who would likely have never seen the previous series.

 

Then it would make even more sense to just scrap ash and have new main characters.
