Welcome to TS technologies where we take your unwanted and unneeded items and turn them into something more useful!
First off : This mod alters none of the original starbound files, does NOT require a new game, and works fine with v Furious Koala.
Now for the mod!
How to unlock the machines: Place 10 steel bars in a furnace and smelt, the result will be a TSunlocker, pick this up to learn the recipe for the 'Engineering Table' at the Metalwork Station, all current machines and tools can be crafted at the Engineering table.
Generator
Once you got your engineering table you will need a generator!
The generator is your source of energy cells.
Energy cells are like an energy currency, you can spend them on making new machines or powering machines to craft items, some machines use a self sufficient core, which requires no extra energy input, but requires a large amount of energy cells to create.
Put either coal, unrefined wood (in stacks of 5), tarfuel or biofuel into the generator to make Energy Cells.
The Generator can also turn 100 Energy Cells into 1 Condensed Energy Cell and 1 Condensed Energy Cell back to 100 Energy Cells.
Machines
This mod adds 4 main machines, the first is 'The Beaker' which turns your unwanted crops and raw meat into biofuel that can be used as fuel for your ships!
It can also produce tar fuel, a great generator fuel, from 50 tar, tar fuel can't power your ship however.
There are also two machines: 'The Crusher' and 'The Reclaimer', that work together to break down the piles and piles of dirt, stone, sand, ect, that you more then likely have/will collect and turn them into a small amount of metals, in a balanced non cheat like way!
Also there is a 4th WIP machine available in V1.6x and 1.7x, The Seed Synthesizer: It creates new and interesting seeds with cellmateria, there are only two seeds available currently, check the nexus page for more info on this, but expect more in the near future.
Tools
PPEMT (Point Precision Energy Mining Tool)
The first and only current energy tool, it will destroy most blocks in a single hit, but can only hit a single block at once and needs to be recharged with Condensed Energy Cells, fairly often. Perfect for extremely tough materials such as obsidian or magmastone, A terrible waste against dirt and sand.

To install:
NEW for 1.7 - Installs using the new mod system, just take the 'TStechnologies' folder out of the zip and place it in the '/starbound/mods' folder and that should be it! Easy!
For upgrading from 1.6x to 1.7 you will need to delete the old assets/TStech folder before installing 1.7 into the 'mods' folder. Also use up any biofuel you have or it disappear!
All other machines and items should be fine.

Mp compatibility - Both you and the host must have the mod installed for it to function properly, if the host has it and a player does not, the player wont be able to see or use the machines, but should be able to play without crashing.
