    Analysis. The machine is completed and appears to work to the blueprint's specifications. The medical station is able to synthesize organic materials into medical compounds, just as we had suspected. It's no wonder the Apex kept this invention quiet - this will radically alter the Stim Pack market. Never before has it been so easy to manufacture them.

    Addendum: The Apex had done more than we originally thought with this machine. It turns out that it is capable of synthesizing two completely new kinds of stim packs as well as assemble nanites with AI neurally mapped from superior alien brains. These nanites have the ability to rapidly close wounds in the body, though they suffer from a short lifespan upon introduction to the blood. Possible side-effects of nanite-based healing are still unknown as no well documented clinical trials have commenced.

    Research Note: The Nanites appear to cling to iron molecules of the hypodermic needle. It is my theory that they use iron in the blood as a sort of transport system to get around the body. Upgrading the hypodermics with Impervium needles prevents nanites clinging inside the needle and forming blockage.

    That device next to that handsome Glitch Doctor is the key to unlocking the secrets of Apex medical advancements: The Apex Medical Station.

    The purpose of this mod is to give players access to the ability to craft Stim Packs and Medkits, as well as a couple of balanced advanced medical items. Not an original idea by any means, but executed in a way that is lore-friendly, and presenting advanced items that are stronger but not overpowered. Crafting stims won't be possible until mid-game, as it requires items only dropped by aliens on planets difficulty 2 and above, and the device used to craft stims is discovered only in Apex Laboratories.

    By default, to access the mod's contents, you have to acquire an Apex Medical Station blueprint as a drop from Apex scientists and containers in Apex labs. The blueprint has a 10% drop chance (Estimated 1 in 10 scientists/lockers) so you may have to find a couple of labs before you score one.

    Items Added:
    Apex Medical Station -
    Blueprint found in Apex Labs. Allows crafting of medkits and Stim Packs, as well as a few more advanced medicines.
    Biomedical Compound - A substance crafted from organic materials, used in the construction of all Stim Packs.
    Steel Hypodermic Needle - Required for injecting Stim compounds.
    Orange Stim Pack - Renders the user Invisible for 10 seconds.
    Purple Stim Pack - Increase passive Energy Regeneration for 30 seconds.
    Nanites - Crafted using high tech methods and expensive materials. Neural mapping requires use of a Superior Brain.
    Nanomedical Kit - Instantly restore a large portion of health.
    Nanomedical Injection - A more powerful Red Stim Pack, upgraded with Nanites and an Impervium injection needle.

    Apex Medical Station - 20 Steel Bar, 20 Titanium Panel (After Blueprint is learned).
    Biomedical Compound - 1 Mushroom, 1 Plant Fibre, 1 Cell Materia
    Steel Hypodermic Needle (x5) - 1 Steel Bar, 5 Glass Block
    Stim Packs - 1 Steel Hypodermic Needle, 1 Biomedical Compount, 2 Flower Petals of the appropriate color (or colors - 1 blue 1 yellow for green, for example).
    Medkits - 5 bandages (or nanowrap bandages) and 1 Fabric
    Nanites (x50) - 1 Platinum Bar, 1 Crystal, 1 Superior Brain, 125 Pixels.
    Nanowrap Bandage Added Recipe - 10 Nanites, 1 Bandage
    Nanomedical Injection (x5) - 1 Impervium Bar, 5 Red Stim Pack, 50 Nanites
