    Introduction

The Consumers are a over-mutated locust-like insect race which has only one goal: to Consume all life, sentient or not. Their Planet of Origin used to be a flourishing colony of Humans until the Consumers destroyed it.

    History

The Consumers Originated as locust-like insects and were a huge pest to the local towns and soon people protested as the government wasn't doing much to stop the problem, soon things got worse and people went on strike, so the government then tried developing ways to wipe them out (the consumers not the people). Nothing worked and things pretty much stayed the same until one, unfortunate day when a shipment of a certain gas came in. This gas was poisonous to most insects but harmless to anything else, so the government thought it might work on the Consumers too. Big mistake. It seemed to work but it was actually speeding up their evolution. Although the side effects of this rapid evolution were: Weakness, Tiredness, Frail body and Slowed Reproduction. This convinced the government that it was working (it wasn't) so they announced the Consumers will be extinct in five years. 3 years later the Consumers significantly larger. When the five years was up the Consumers were Human Size and now had a hunger for flesh and consumed many towns, 3 weeks later the colony was gone, its inhabitants either dead or evacuated, the planet was now the Consumers nest world.

Although not all ships made it off, some were still operational, and after years of failing, The Consumers figured out how to fly the ships that were left behind... and how to make their own...

    Biology

The Consumers aren't very tall, around as tall as a teenager ,although there is the occasional taller Consumer. The main instinct of a Consumer is to, well consume and to breed. Although a Consumer can break free of this instinct and try to stop their own kind from destroying everything, thus becoming what is known as a preserver. Not all but most Consumer are not very smart but others can be very smart indeed. A Consumers body usually consist of what humans consider "vital" organs such as a heart and brain. But this is not always the case as Consumers have ability to integrate other organs from dead creatures.

    Culture

Consumers have a very basic and crude hierarchy made up of the upper classes: the queens, soldiers and instructors. And the lower classes: the drones, the harvesters and the underlings(Criminal Consumers forced to do the worst jobs). One of the only(albeit easiest) ways to rise in the Consumer hierarchy is to fight 1 on 1 in a arena called the Demon Pit, though one must be careful while doing this as it is a fight to the death and almost absolutely no except for that you can only use things in the arena and that there are no guns. The Consumers don't have very much in the way of religion except that their gods can only be pleased if all life is destroyed.

    Traits

Short but makes up for it in strength
Limited in the way of Technology
    Fierce Warriors
Most hostile race in the galaxy except when a preserver
    Poor Diplomats

    Technology

The Consumers (as mentioned in traits) have little in the way of technology and most weapons are swords and spears, although guns are existent in the Consumer Culture. Their ships seem to be a human ship covered in webs and what seems to be egg pods on the exterior, there also seems to be lots of wear and tear as well.

    Conclusion

Thank you for noticing this suggestion and please forgive me if they are any low quality bits or parts that don't make sense as this is my first suggestion this big
