Hello everyone! I'm Whimzy, and I love to draw! I'm starting this thread (hopefully in the right place) for all my Starbound art for you all to view, and possibly critique and enjoy!

I am in no way a "good artist", I just doodle silly things for fun~! c:

I do requests, and I will try to get them done asap. I tend to lose interest in things, so don't expect some of em' so quickly! Just ask me!

I will archive all of my doodles in this post here.

This one's to get a feel for my artstyle, even though this is a bit sketchy by my standards. If you'd like your requests neat and tidy, please specify in your comment, because I tend to settle for "good enough"s!

I, Fantabuloso the fantabulous, throw a shredded turkey vulture asparagus at you ask I ask you you to draw my not-so fantabulos character.

His name is Reiden, and he's an Eye guard. He's about average height but his wings stretch very wide. He is generally in a dark atmosphere.

Hello! I'm just here to say that your requests may take a lil' bit longer due to real-life problems (ex- rushing to complete a huge project). I got the sketches done but expect a day or two wait for the finished products!

Here he is! One of my characters I usually play on an RP server. His name is Quenchtron 8000, and he's the mascot for Quench-cola, a company I made on the server. He's an annoying salesman who isn't programmed to deal with a customer not wanting a drink, so he harasses them endlessly. His chest has a flap where the cans fall out, and he has two oxygen tanks filled with soda on his back.

 

I'd also like to reserve~! I'll get it to you ASAP today.

Alright guys, I got a fair amount of sketches done today! (Sadly I didn't get to color anyone's request today though! >_>)
For these next 6, I'm thinking about putting some backgrounds up for them! (Sorry Rhomboid, haha...)

I also decided to draw another one of my Starbound characters: Stan!
Stan (Aptly nicknamed or longnamed w/e "Starbound Stan") is a Japanese/American human who fled earth when the tentacles attacked. He is currently about 21 years old. He was born and raised in America, and he has no knowledge of anything to do with Japanese culture! He's rude, crude, foul-mouthed, perverted, and a complete jerk! What a lovely guy! He was more or less made as a kind of joke character, because everyone else on our little "crew" was too nice. But then he grew into a kind of badass "popular" (although nobody can stand his antics but Levi) character. He's now a very skilled, very strong, axe-wielding pervert who constantly distracts everyone with his comments. And he is still a jerk. Kimiko (Our Hylotl) wonders why they still keep him around. Good thing he's an actually decent helpful person when working with Levi. How odd.

Is this a fully colored image? Did you waste your time on this instead of the requests? And what about that fancy new banner on your signature? What have you been doing with your time?!?

Well, you see, projects like the one i'm working on for Honors History right now can be very stressful to me due to my sidetracking wayward nature! I needed something fun and colorful to look at, so I made a desktop of space! And then I drew some Novakid/Novakids on it! And then wrote "NOVAKIDS!" in rainbow letters. Yeah.

The signature's derived from the desktop, because well, I keep seeing people with all these fancy links to whatever their main thread is in their siggies! I thought that was cool, so I did one too! It links right to this art thread! How sweet is that? ;D

What program do you use for these?

 

I actually use an iPad to draw all these :0 I use this app called Procreate, it's quite nifty. I don't have a legit tablet or photoshop or SAI quite yet, although I hope I can get those set up soon!
