Can't be. It's too bright. Now, it might've been the gamma, but I could barely make anything out of my surroundings even with the lightstick around my back. Of course, without them it was pitch black, though I think the devs had it adjusted on one of the last stable releases (Shame, I liked how it got really dark without any light source. It became a real survival horror on nightfall).

i want more decorations that you can make like a clock and map and stuff that u can find in npc places but that are able to be crafted.
I know this doesn't show ocean biomes, but I was on the nightly and I went to an ocean biome and every time I got out of my ship, the game would EXTREMELY lag. The ocean biome planets need a bit of a performance boost.
From my phone the about of light looks smaller that's why I said lantern if I saw it was bigger I would have said yellow stim Edit: also something I would like to see is potent/strong/thick/powerful stims that would last longer but you would need to make it with three of the stim or maybe you can buy it from that twitchy touch with the coat... And also the silly idea of a super stim with all the effects of the other stims but that's just silly. Rember before taking stims you've found in a old chest in a pool of poison ask your doctor if random stims are right for you. Side effects include but not limited to: twitching, not having pants, cats ruling your race, needing to sleep nightly, needing to eat and lots more that we don't want to tell you
I don't know if they changed that in the nightly build, but I really hope they will change the 1planet = 1 major biome (like a desert). the only biome that must be unique in a planet is the moon one.
bro, do you even Star Wars? Seriously though, I think the biomes are varied enough. Two per planet is good IMO, to keep things simple without being monotone. My only complaint would be that sometimes those two biomes would not mesh with each other. For instance a volcanic biome on a snow planet. Not that it is an implausible scenario, but then there is no transition, it's just: snow-snow-snow-snow-snow-snow-snow-snow-whaOUCH-I-STEPPED-ON-LAVA-OMGIMMELTIIIIIIInnngggg...

I'm sorry if I'm speaking out of line here, but has the Dev team only got cave generation and small fixes in 6 mouth's? and all the major moder's seem to have given up or are waiting for game to go gold. i love that hell out of this game, but at this rate it seems like only one guy is working on this game still and he is working on like 3 different games. im glade to hear progress is being made but the pace is way to slow. please pick it up. on a better note i look forward to this game's full release. floran..... hUNGRY....

Also i admit that i was being critical but the closer i get back to Mar 30, the more i see how little that's been done. granted that coding take's alot of time and bug testing, but this dose not change how i feel the progress has been going. but again sorry if i was being to rude about it.
you...! I...!!! Wanted to get snippy at you. But I can't. I love Professor Kokonoe. So I can't. Well played... but back on topic, It's a relatively small team, and they're spread around many tasks. And that does sound like too little for six months, but most (if not all) of the updates we've seen here are not in their final state (hence why we've yet to see any stable update). So they're still working on them. So on top of what is being showcased in the these news, there is the previous ones to account for. Now, they could just hunker down and focus on finish what they're currently doing, so when the next update hits, it will be mostly done. But think about how long we would go without any updates then. The people here would be driven mad. MAD I say. You may notice how most of what I said is conjecture. You would be right. I'm just using my own experience with coding to make a guesstimate on where things are right now, as I've no knowledge of real progress. So take that with a grain of salt as big as your blood pressure will allow.
