Human USCM personel seems to favor pulse rifles, so those might be a good idea (alien homage btw). (Pulse rifle) Atm apex is the only race that seems to use ligthning coils. So those and perhaps other energy based weaponry (they are more high tech then humans after all). (Lightning coil) Or they could use the floran themed weaponry allredy ingame instead of a bow (Floran Needler & Floran grenade launcher, etc). (Floran Needler) (Floran Grenade launcher) Sure, aloot of florans most likely use spears, javelins and bows. But they do have more high tech stuff (Theres no info if these guns are scavenged/converted guns or guns built by the florans from reverse engineering others guns or even a invention of their own). I dont see why not, they are allredy ingame and used by glitch castle guards. (Crossbow) I should also add that there are avian specific weapons ingame (Avian blaster and avian gun, they use red crystals and a sand like color scheme in their design). No fishie weapons yet, but i bet those will be included once we get ocean worlds with their cities.
Those would work too, was just thinking that the AR seemed more human like out of all the weapons. Same with the Floran and bows. Although "energy" Bows would probably be better suited than a simple bow and arrow, they are capable of space flight after all. Perhaps the fishie would get a shotgun considering they only fight through self defence due to their peaceful ways. Or maybe a sniper rifle for the more gracefull way of fighting.

Lol I know exactly what you mean. Yeah we get it Chucklefish, you can draw pixel art, that's nice, now give me a video demonstrating why I'd rather play your game than just look at it. Also, modders do indeed seem to outdo these guys at their own job, being a developer myself I'd usually be skeptical, but when you grab a modder's work, use it and then refuse to give the original author credit and act like a douche about it on twitter/reddit then yeah! I'm inclined to agree you aren't really doing your jobs properly. That was made public enough for me to not care about the scandal behind it because it probably did more damage to chuckleflunk's reputation than it did the original coder. Anyway, whatever chucklefart do I'll forgive it all so long as I can play Starbound's big update at some point.
