Character Names

My Avian character, I named him Chozo. Before I used hex editing to edit the player save to "Littleman9Mew2"

"Sylva" my main Floran character, the name is a slightly changed form of one of the many latin words for plant: "silva".

"Acera" my second floran character I barely play with. The name, funny enough was a truncation of the latin words of "green" and a another word. Strangely, the actual spanish word for Acera is "Sidewalk". Yup, Sidewalk.

My floofy pink Apex is named Magical Space Captain Monkey Girl Nadarva.

I mean, that's the name I give her in my head. In game, she's just Nadarva. 'cause I'm not sure the rest would fit.

I'm currently holding stories detailing her many exciting adventures back in hopes for a deal with Gainax.

 

The only name I use that isn't ripped from the 16-bit RPGs of my teenage years is a hylotl named Codbert. Dilbert's pet fish in a lab coat.

I don't recall the names of my first couple of characters that i played with back in beta, but since I came back after 1.0 I have been playing with
an Apex named Dr Emeno (From the L-M-N-O bit of the alphabet song and an npc from a tabletop game i used to play)
a Floran named Narlo (bastardization of gnarly)

 

I have a purple Novakid that I used the name generator to name. I got Cerise, decided it sounded nice, and went with that.
Then my friend told me that Cerise is French for "cherry".
Whoops.
